Bismillah wa -Alhamdulillah wa Salaatu wa Salaam 'alaa Rasulillah 'amma ba'd
Muwahhideen Publications is very pleased to announce a LIVE Tele-lecture on Saturday 30th November 2013 with the Noble Shaykh Abu ‘Abdul Haqq ‘Abdul Lateef al-Kurdi (May Allah Preserve him) who is from the mashaayikh of Iraq. He is highly recommended by Shaykh Rabee’ al-Madkhalee as well as Shaykh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree (May Allah Preserve them).
Shaykh Rabee’ said about Shaykh ‘Abdul Lateef, “Hold on to him and his Salafi School with the molar teeth.” He also referred to him as an esteemed scholar and states that he has known him for a very long time to be a person of zuhd and fiqh. He continued by saying his school is of sound ‘aqeedah and manhaj and he knows him to be a person of intelligence. Shaykh Rabee’ further said that the people should thank Allah for having him and his school amongst them and that his status must be recognized.
Here is the tazkiyyah of Shaykh Rabee' (hafidhahullah) to Shaykh 'AbdulLateef (hafidhahullah) (Arabic Only):http://sh-kurdi.dafiri.com/
This lecture event will be broadcast LIVE in three Masaajid in Trinidad & Tobago and five Masaajid in the U.S. In Trinidad & Tobago: Masjid Ibn 'Abbaas, Tobago, Masjid ul Khaleefah and Masjid us Sunnah, and in the US: Masjid Al-Bukhaari, Florida, Masjid Ibn 'Abbas, Georgia, Masjid Nur Allaah, New York, Masjid as-Sahabah, Ohio and Masjid Tawheed, Michigan.
Shaikh Ahmad Baazmool (may Allaah preserve him) said:”Ta’assub is to reject the truth and continue upon falsehood. It is also to return everything back to one individual and make walaa wal baraa (i.e. love and hate) around him; so whatever he says is the truth and whatever he refutes is false, no matter what. This is ta’assub” [Translated by Abul Husayn Yoosuf Irlandee: Source: Nasaa-ih Wa Tawjeehaat: page:4]

Muhammad ibn Khaleel al-`Abdaree az-Zaahiree -rahimahullaah- said, as occurs in the introduction to 'al-Mawridul-Ahlaa' (p.343), that Ibn Hazm -rahimahullaah- said, whilst speaking about ta`assub (bigoted attachment): "And we are not pleased with those who become angry for our sake, rather we are only pleased with those who become angry for the sake of the truth; and we do not become happy with those who support our sayings, rather we only become happy with those who support the truth wherever it is found; and an ignorant person should not show ignorance towards us and think that we are just followers of Aboo Sulaymaan Daawood ibn `Alee. Rather Aboo Sulaymaan is a Shaikh from our Shaikhs, and a teacher from our teachers. If he attained correctness, then we are along with him, following the truth; and if he made a mistake, then we excuse ourselves, and we follow the truth, wherever we understand it to be." Shaykh ‘Abdul Lateef al-Kurdi (hafidhahullah) will admonish us regarding this crucial matter that has afflicted many Muslims in these times. Our Shaykh will shed some light on the extreme danger of engaging in this over exaggeration of men and personalities and by the Permission of Allah, we will all benefit from this sitting and thus safeguard ourselves from falling into such disliked affairs.
We ask Allah to guide us to all that He loves and is pleased with and we seek refuge in Him from falling into misguidance or misguiding others.
