Ash-Shaykh Muhammad al-Wasaabee (hafidhahullah) delivered a highly beneficial admonition concerning the position of the Muslim in times of fitnah in a simple yet aboundingly compelling manner.
Our Shaykh laid down two vital principles that every Muslim should adhere to in times of calamity. These include holding firmly to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and referring to the major scholars of the Deen, not preceding them in any statement or action.
Shaykh al-Wasaabee provided and explained the relevant proofs regarding this topic and clarified the matter such that there should remain no confusion about what must be done in these times of raging fitnah.
