Bismillāh wa-Alḥamdulillāh wa al-Ṣalātu wa al-Salām ʿalá Rasūl Allāh ʿamma baʿd
Our Shaykh Abū Hakīm Bilāl Davis (حفظه الله) gave an encouraging reminder where he explores the glad tidings promised to the Ummah in the ḥadīth of Ubayy bin Ka’b, as conveyed by the Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ), and elaborates on the conditions for these blessings. He also discusses the affair of the one who is consumed with the pursuit of the dunya instead of the akhīrah and the significance of sincerity (ikhlāṣ) in attaining both worldly and spiritual success.
We ask Allāh to allow us to benefit from this immense admonition and place it in our, and our Shaykh’s, scale of good deeds.
