Question:
The woman who is on her menses, if she said the aforementioned du’ā:
“اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عُفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي”
“O Allāh, You are Oft-Pardoning, You love to forgive, so forgive me”,
does she get rewarded for saying this as if it was for 1000 months?
Answer:
Yes, and this is from the virtue of this night that it is better than 1000 months. Allāh is not forgetful, and He is the One that knows beforehand that there will be people on this night not making ṣalāh because they are sick or because they are on their menses or because they are travelling and so on and so forth, so He decrees the rewards for His servants regardless of their condition.
