The Noble Shaykh Hasan Daghriry  (May Allah Preserve Him), from the Mashaayikh of Jazan, Saudi Arabia has agreed to deliver a LIVE tele-lecture with Muwahhideen Publications on Friday 12^th April 2013. The shaykh is a student of Al-Allaamh Ash-Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmi (hafidhahullaah), he participates in conferences and seminars with many of the mashaayikh of that area and is recommended by them, including Shaykh ‘Abdullah an-Najmi, Shaykh Muhmmad ibn Zayd al-Madkhalee, and Shaykh Khalid Namazy. This event will be broadcast LIVE in Masjid Ibn ‘Abbaas, Tobago, two masaajid in Trinidad, Masjid ul Khaleefah and Masjid us Sunnah, and six masaajid in the U.S. Masjid Al-Bukhaari, Florida, Masjid Ibn ‘Abbas, Georgia, Masjid Uthaymeen, New Jersey, Masjid Nur Allaah, New York, Masjid as-Sahabah, Ohio and Masjid Tawheed, Michigan.

This lecture event will be translated LIVE into English In shaa Allah.

Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)  states, “From among the artful machinations and entrapments of Allah’s enemy [satan], with which he has snared those possessing little good sense, knowledge and Deen [faith], and by which he has stalked the hearts of the false and ignorant people, there is the listening to whistling, wailing, handclapping and song to the accompaniment of forbidden [musical] instruments. Such things block the Qur’aan from people’s hearts and make them devoted to sin and disobedience. For song (to musical accompaniment) is the Qur’aan of ash-shaytaan (satan). It is a dense veil and barrier, preventing nearness to Ar-Rahmaan! (Allah) By way of such song, satan deceives vain souls, making it appear pleasing to them through his cunning appeal to their vanities. He insidiously whispers false, specious arguments suggesting the ‘goodness’ in song. Also extremely pertinent in our time are the affairs surrounding the television and looking at movies; Shaykh Hasan Daghriry (hafidhahullah) will admonish us regarding these issues and thus clarify the correct Islaamic position that should be taken by the Muslims.
