The Fiṭrah (Natural Disposition) and The Five Necessities by Shamsī

The beneficial points covered by the brother are:

• Al-Fiṭrah And The Five Necessities.
• Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) mentioned in the Qur’ān:

﴾ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ ﴿ “The fiṭrah that Allāh created people with.” [Sūrah Ar-Rūm 30:30]

• Muḥammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ، Every child is born upon al-fiṭrah (the natural inclination). Either his family makes him into a Jew, or a Christian, or a fire worshiper. [Bukhārī & Muslim]

• Ibn Taymiyah (رحمه الله) said, ‘if something occurs, someone must have caused it.’
• Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) mentioned in the Qur’ān about the Anbiyā’,

﴾أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ﴿ “Is there any doubt about Allāh, the Originator of the Heavens and Earth?” [Sūrah Ibrāhīm 14:10]

• The arguments and proofs in the Qur’ān are based on:

1. The Fiṭrah.

﴾أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ ﴿ “Were they created by nothing or did they create themselves?” [Sūrah Al-Ṭūr 52:35]

• Any person with a fiṭrah – a natural inclination, – will incline towards Islām.
• Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) created mankind with Universal Tools:

• The five necessities that Islām came to preserve show that the Qur’ān was revealed by Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى).
• There is a huge war against human nature!
• Islām warns against blind following, Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) says,

﴾قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ ﴿ “Say bring your proofs if you are truthful.” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah 2:111]

• Islām came to free mankind from the slavery of desires and the slavery of the devil. And the slavery of society.
• What to do if the fiṭrah is corrupted? You utilize Sound Reasoning and Intellectual Arguments.
• The Five Necessities That Islām Came To Preserve:

1. Religion.To teach us to worship the One True God and teach Islām.

﴾وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ ﴿ “Whoever turns away from my remembrance will have a miserable life and on the day of resurrection, he will be resurrected as a blind person. [Sūrah Ṭā-ḥā 20:124]

2. The Intellect.
   1. Alcohol is forbidden
3. Wealth
   1. Gambling is forbidden.
   2. Interest – Riba is ḥaram.

• [Muslim]اَلْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو اَلْمُسْلِمِ “A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim.”

4. Families, Marriages & Lineages.
   1. Fornication and adultery is ḥarām.
5. Life and the Soul.
   1. Suicide and killing innocent people is forbidden in Islām.
   2. There is a capital punishment for anyone who tries to destroy these 5 necessities.

• Islām came to preserve and protect the five Universal Necessities and to put barriers to anything that opposes these five things.
• In this time we are living in, the five things that destroy societies which have been glorified and glamorized.
• A lot of times those who are very hostile to Islām are those who are in power. They look at Islām as a threat to their business!
• Three Kinds Of People Hate Islām.
  1. The Ignorant
  2. Those in Power.
  3. Those who follow their Evil Desires.
• Some people care more about the criminals than the victims
• The contradictions in human law.
• When the legislation comes from the Creator, there are no discrepancies and no contradictions.
• The Islāmic legislation is valid for every place and every time because it is from The Almighty Creator of everything.
• The fastest growing religion on the face of this earth is Islām.
• Salvation, safety and protection are only in the Islāmic teachings.
• Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) promised He will give victory to those who follow Him!
