Bismillāh wa-Alḥamdulillāh wa al-Ṣalātu wa al-Salām ʿalá Rasūl Allāh ʿamma baʿd
For Muwahhideen Publications’ December 2024 Seminar, entitled, “Islam is The Solution,” our Shaykh Ḥasan Ṣomālī (حفظه الله) delivered a powerful admonition at Masjid Ul Ikhlaas in Diego Martin, Trinidad.
We ask Allāh to allow us to benefit and to implement that which we have learned.
Wa Billāhi Tawfīq
The following are the main points covered in this lesson:
- Reckless behavior from those who do not believe in Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى)
- Wishing for another chance when faced with death.
- Our purpose in life is to worship Allāh alone, without any partners.
- The level of our happiness in this world and the hereafter depends upon the strength of our faith and our righteous deeds.
- First example – Prophet Nūḥ (عليه السلام) did not give up after 950 years of daʿwah:
- What are we doing for the spread of Islām?
- Everyone has a role as it relates to this daʿwah.
- Second example – Prophet Ibrāhīm (عليه السلام) was willing to make one of the greatest sacrifices for the sake of Allāh.
- Third example – The Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) was mocked, almost assassinated and was kicked out of his homeland:
- Fourth example – Abū Bakr Aṣ-Şiddīq (رضى الله عنه) spent his precious wealth for the sake of Allāh:
- If you do not have money, you have time! How much do you volunteer for the community?
- So many billionaires are miserable because they do not have īmān (faith).
- Whatever Allāh gifted you with, utilise that for the benefit of Islām and the Muslims.
- True brotherhood is worth more than gold and silver.
- Allāh says in several places of the Qurʿān that the righteous will be in bliss.
- Allāh created life and death to test you.
- Sincerity can make a small action great with Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى).
- Be children of the hereafter and do not be children of this world.
- Be sincere to Allāh to avoid disappointment.
- People will be put to trial and tested with one another.
- Allāh is Al-Ghaffār, the All- Forgiving, the Most Merciful, the One Who Accepts Repentance.
- Allāh’s intelligent servants who have divorced the dunyā
